Faith and Obedience brought the blessing!

I want to share how important it is to listen, pray, read, believe God’s word, and be obedient to the Pastor’s God put under you.  In 1997-1998 I was told no one would marry me.  I had four children at the time.  I use to attend Highway but left many times.  I finally came back and while I remained faithful to God and the ministry, God blessed me to be in a relationship with a Deacon, a man of God at Highway.  I truly felt blessed to have a Deacon in my life because I realized I never had a saved man in my life before.  After a year of our relationship he asked me to marry him; we went to counseling with our Pastors Bishop and Pastor Hughes.  But I must say I needed more, so we planned the wedding, got married and wow did the enemy attack.  We got married December 7, 2002.  I can say every two weeks it was a mess, anger spirits, lying spirits, don’t care spirits, and lust spirits had taking control and so many times I was ready to give up.  I would pray, fast, and pray and fast, then I would cry out to God, and call my Pastor.  The Lord used Pastor Annie Hughes so much in my marriage to help me not to give up in my marriage; so on December 7, 2022 we celebrated 20 years of marriage.  I had given up so many times but through prayers, God’s word, and most of all the wisdom from the woman of God Pastor Hughes I can keep my Faith in all Jesus did on the cross.  Continue to use and speak his word and be obedient to the leaders God put in Highway I will make it in Jesus name. I give praise to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the anointed teaching and preaching I receive from Highway Deliverance Ministry. I had been praying fervently for God to bless me with a home I can own. I had been renting for several years and always dreamed of owning my own home. As a single person I felt there was no way God would do this for me financially. I received a Faith Word from my Pastors it was time for me to possess the land in home ownership. I immediately obeyed the instructions of my leaders and put in for this 4 bedroom single family home in excellent condition in a nice neighborhood. Within 90 days I was walking into my new home where God bless the price to be approximately $200,000 less than the original market value. I give God all glory and praise!!! Hallelujah!!! PK

What a blessing my ministry has been to me. I thought that I was not able to do anything else on my job at one point but just wash dishes but the Lord had another plan for my life. Apostle Hughes spoke a prophetic word to me and I grabbed a hold of it. I knew as a man it was my responsibility to take care of my family so I said to myself what do I have to lose nothing but I knew I could gain in God. My family was on the list of being evicted from our apartment and I didn’t know what to do but God came through and blessed us with money from everywhere. We were not evicted from our apartment. What God was doing in my life was because of the teaching of Faith being provided to me through my leaders. That one word from God that came from Apostle Hughes has caused my family to move from lack to plenty. The Lord says that he wish above all things that we may prosper and be in health even as our soul prosper. God’s word is true. Look at God move. Thanks be to God!!! KH

I am truly blessed to be a part of Highway Deliverance Ministry. I have been to many churches but I have never been a part of a Deliverance Ministry. I have learned so much in this Deliverance Ministry. Apostle and Pastor Hughes let me know how important it is to study the Word of God, have faith in the Word of God and to pray in the Holy Ghost. The teaching has helped me to be a wife to my husband, a mother to my children and helped me know how to prosper in our finances and in my health. Every time God gives them instructions for me and my family as long as we obey those instructions we get blessed every time. I thank God how they hear from God on our behalf. Thankful for all that God has done for me. He has blessed me spiritually and naturally. Spiritually, he has blessed me with spiritual leaders that teaches the entirety of God’s Word, and the importance of having a intimate relationship with Him. He has also blessed me with a home and a new car. MG

I wanted to eat healthy and lose weight but it was always a struggle for me. The Lord blessed Pastor Hughes with the Health Ministry and now I eat healthy and can fit clothes that I couldn't fit before. Thank God for using Pastor Hughes to instruct us about putting the right things into our bodies. I have been having a lot of trouble with my Faith concerning my family and marriage. God used my leaders on how to give us wise counsel. They taught us the Word of God on how to put our Faith in all Jesus has accomplished on the Cross and to stay in God's presence and his word. I am encourage and celebrating 15 years of marriage and bless to enjoy my husband and family because of how God used Apostle and Pastor Hughes. DC

God was so strong on Pastor as she was praying for me I had my eyes closed, the spirit was so strong and the anointing felt different.  I opened my eyes and looked at Pastor as God was still using her as she was still praying for me I could feel and see the power of God in her eyes.  It was a very strong and powerful anointing.  The last words in her prayer were God’s going to give me favor, she said if I and my husband would pray God was going to bless us.  My court date was July 31, 2023 at 11:00 am three weeks before I went to court.  The lawyers on the dealer side told me I would have to pay for attorney’s fee plus money they wanted for the car total of $7,900.  They garnished my bank account. I had never had a garnishment before I was so hurt; my only prayer was that they would let me pay $250.00 monthly.  I knew me or my son didn’t have $7,900.00.  I got to the courtroom, I was second in line.  The judge was very rough to the lady that was in front of me, when I heard how rough and mean he was to her I just started praying in the spirit.  He called my name; I raised my hand and said “here”.  He said case dismissed. I felt like a water fountain with burst of tears and joy coming out of me.  I realized all the praying Pastor, Bishop, and the church did for me and being obedient to my leaders brought me the biggest blessing and peace in my life.  God has showed how important it is to listen to your leaders, how to be faithful to prayer and reading God’s word brings the blessings in your life.  God has given Highway leaders who know how to get a prayer through.  God uses them to give godly instructions and godly advice, when situations come in your life you give it to God and share it with your leaders and God will make miracles, blessings, and peace come to you that you will know God has given Godly leaders who care, love, and go to God on our behalf.

The Lord Delivered Me and Restored Me

The Lord has helped me in so many areas in my life! Years ago, some past things started to surface in my life. I tried to push the issues to the back of my mind; and to pay little attention to them, but it only gotten worse. One day I told my Pastor's about the issues, and they immediately told me the truth. They told me that I needed to be delivered from holding onto unforgiveness, deep hurt, and all of the things that was from my past. Even though they told me that I needed to be delivered; and I've been to several counseling meetings with them about the issues- I chose not to give it up because the hurt and pain felt like it happened yesterday. I felt that this person deserved to be treated mean and spiteful, because of what they have did to me. But until I finally saw that I was only hurting myself and was going nowhere; that's when I finally came to the end of myself in that area. I was ready and willing to give it all up- I had made up in my mind to want to be free from it, and this decision was life changing. From there, The Lord started to uproot all of the past hurts; past misunderstandings; and more to show me that He has more in store for my life. Such as unconditional love; joy; His peace; and all things righteous.

If I didn't let each of those things go, I would have been complacent and my spiritual growth would have been stunted. But when The Lord delivered me from those things, He opened my heart to love the very person that I thought I hated the most- my mother. From speaking with my Pastor time and time again about this, God gave her Godly wisdom to give to me on how to love my mother. From there, day by day God showed me through The Holy Spirit (by spending time in His presence; and in His Word) of how to love her in spite of what she does; how to receive her love when she shows it; and how to stay free from unforgiveness. Today, my mother and I have a closer relationship than ever before- God has restored the mother and daughter relationship back together. God has mended past hurts between us; and at several appointed times He has given us the opportunity to talk more and deeply about everything. She sees God and His works through me. MG

The Lord Blessed Me Through College

During my time in college, God had blessed me to know my true identity in Him; and to pay zero monthly fees; and tuition bills. Through being obedient to my Pastor’s teaching, and praying. God has opened these doors for me. While in college He gave me boldness; favor; and blessed me to see the truth behind following the world's system and values. He showed me first hand, how people that has build their houses upon the sand; soon falls because there is no solid foundation underneath them. But to those who has build their houses upon the solid rock- which is on God; His Word; prayer; fasting; and being obedient to their Pastor's receives the victory. God blessed me to receive the victory! He showed me how to build my spiritual house on the solid rock- which is in Him; after I decided to drop off what was unprofitable for my spiritual growth and relationship with Him. Only then, He gave me enduring power to be able to go through many temptations; and to know that it's not about having a lot of friends in college. But it's about: using discernment to see if those friends are really for you. And, do they have a relationship with God?

God blessed me to be a light to some of my former classmates; and to witness to them about the salvation of Jesus Christ. Some has accepted his salvation. Along with, he blessed me each semester during my fall and spring semester with a scholarship that paid for both semesters entirely; He blessed me with favor with my financial aid (FAFSA); and with receiving other grants. Furthermore, He helped me to graduate a half of year early. MG

Forgiveness Testimony

The powerful ministering and phenomenal teachings from both my Bishop and Pastor on the topic of choosing to forgive have brought forth great results. I’ve chose to obey my leaders and also be a doer of the word, and by doing so it helped me tremendously in my spiritual walk with God and also it helped mend the broken relationship between my mother and I. With the help of both of my leaders they’ve helped me so much in many ways and I thank God for giving me Pastors that will feed me knowledge and understanding and above all the truth. I commend them for never compromising with no one or any type of situation and that’s what I always needed in my life. MG

I want to share with you how important it is to remain in the ministry God place you in. I never knew about rebukes, lust demons, holding on to unforgiveness or bitterness. I was in trapped with a lot of ungodly acts and I was not able to free myself. Only God can deliver but he also gives your leaders (Pastors) to help you. The gifts of discernment must be apart of your ministry and I believe your Pastors have to be fully equipped. I was in bondage for many years. I almost lost my home, job, and my husband by walking in the flesh and letting the old sin nature rise and holding on to pride. When I would get corrected by my Pastors I never thought God was correcting me I thought they didn't like me but not realizing that they love me enough to hear instructions from God and let me know my faults. I began to hate them and everyone in the church. I realized it was in my heart that I was allowing the sin nature to rise, I was walking in the flesh and walking in pride. You must humble yourself, take corrections and grow. God allowed the Pastors to rebuke because God loves his children and he wants the best for us and the Pastors of Highway Deliverance Ministry loves the people of God. When I repented, humbled myself and came back the Lord blessed me with a daughter, a new van, a renewed love for my husband, ministry, and church family. If you're running from your mistakes come back, humble yourself and trust God to lead you, guide you, and renew your mind to the Word of God. DC

Healing Testimony

I am 54 years of age and I have always eaten chicken, pork, beef, and a lot of cheese. In August 2015, I had a mammogram that showed cancer on my breast tissue. I had to go to the doctor every 6 months for them to check and see if the cancer was growing. Pastor Annie Hughes started a health ministry class. The class taught us how to eat a healthy balance diet. It also showed us how not to eat an American Standard Diet such as fast foods, etc. The class showed us different recipes that we could prepare daily that will cause our body to heal itself. I began to make those lifestyle changes on March 2, 2017. I received a letter after taking my mammogram on February 23, 2018 and the results showed no more cancerous cells in my breast. I know it was from what I learned in the health ministry class under Pastor Annie Hughes. I no longer eat unhealthy foods and I drink nutritional drinks 2 to 3 times daily. I am so grateful to God for using Pastor Annie Hughes in having the health ministry class to show us how to eat healthy. Due to me changing my eating habits from bad to good it caused me to lose weight but most of all took the cancerous cells out of my breast. DC

My name is Kamechia Tabron and in 2011, I gave birth to twin daughters. My oldest daughter was born with Cranial Dysplasia. The doctor told us that we will have to get surgery done on her head and a month later, it happened. I went to Highway Deliverance Church and told them what was going on. Apostle Joseph and Pastor Annie Hughes prayed for my daughter and me that day. After surgery, the doctor told us she would have to wear a helmet to reshape her head for 3 years. Throughout this time Highway Deliverance Church never gave up on my family, they kept praying, and every time I attended a church service Pastor Annie Hughes would always pray over my daughter. Three months later the doctor took her helmet off and said she did not need it any more. Because Apostle Joseph and Pastor Annie Hughes allowed God to use them along with Highway Deliverance church members my daughter received her healing. They are anointed men and women of God and my family are so thankful that the Lord used them in a mighty way. The doctors could not believe the miracle God did for my child. Kaylah is smart and is moving around like a normal child and because of that, I am so blessed. Thank you Highway! KT

My name is Tyree Brown and I’m a 25 year old Christian visual artist. In 2015 I was in a car accident that rendered me quadriplegic, an injury of the spinal cord.  I was raised in the church and at the time did what I thought was the most I could do for God, but everything changed after my injury. I could no longer walk or use my dominant right hand. While in rehabilitation I needed to be helped for just about everything. Overtime, this weighed heavy on my heart and my spiritual life begin to sink. While attending church, Pastor Hughes encouraged me to seek God and to pray in the Holy Spirit. The Lord showed her that I began to fade away spiritually. It is important to be obedient to your spiritual leaders because the moment I got back into God’s presence, I began to see my spiritual life increase and I also began to see that my relationship with God before my injury was no where near where it was supposed to be. My relationship with Jesus was conditional and my life didn’t represent Jesus as it should have been.  By being in this ministry (Highway Deliverance Church), I am learning the importance of obedience, humility, trust and faith. I’m learning to keep my faith in Jesus Christ and what he did for me on the cross. I’m learning to put God first and live a Holy life for Christ. Living for God has helped me both spiritually and physically. I’m gaining mobility throughout my body. I can now do so many tasks independently that at one point I was not able to do. I am going to continue to believe God in my faith walk with him.
 
My name is Kenny and I attend Highway Deliverance Church.  I was given a doctor prescribe medication and it didn’t agree with my system at all.  It made me feel weak, bad back pain, headache, etc. and I just felt really bad.  I came to church on Sunday morning and asked our Pastor to pray for me such as the bible say call on the elders of the church.  I thank God for the prayer.  After I knew it when I was singing I was able to jump up and I felt no pain and at that point I knew God had totally healed me.  Thank you Jesus for using the woman of God to pray for me and having my Faith in Jesus Christ that I was completely healed and felt no more pain.  All the symptoms were gone.  Thank you Jesus and prayer works!!!
